SUNDAY FINDS

Some Sunday inspirational finds I came across this morning. Oh how I wish I had the room to store these guys until I could sell them.20140119-094748.jpg20140119-095010.jpgThis chest needs a little sanding and staining. That’s all to restore it back to its original shine. The top tray could be lined with a colorful liner to give it a surprising personality when it’s open.20140119-095735.jpgI could see these chairs in a funky fun color maybe a mint, turquoise or coral. With a graphic or floral print for the cushions. Because it’s two chairs available I’d place them in either end of a dining table. Remember, not all your chairs need to match.20140119-100728.jpgI can picture this cabinet in a huge bathroom. The paint I’d swap out for white. Replace the hardware and the top doors with an etched glass door. Here’s an example of the etched glass.20140119-101629.jpg Happy Sunday everyone! Like my page on Facebook.com/kolarosedesigns

IS THIS SEAT TAKEN?

When looking for chair(s) furniture we look for two things…comfort and style. However, in some cases comfort isn’t what your looking for, but more or less style to decorate a room. I’ve got a little bit of everything to give you some ideas for your next room! Take a look and tell me what styles you like to see in your next makeover.
20131102-200038.jpgIf you’ve got a little extra room in your kitchen you can possibly add a nook to give more seating for you and your family.
20131102-200513.jpgLove the colors in what looks like a formal living room. Don’t be afraid to bring in colors and different patterns.
20131102-200528.jpgLucite (ghost) chairs work wonders. Here’s what I mean. If you have a small space the clearness of the chair gives the illusion that the room is bigger, because it’s not blocking any views. Add colorful pillows to bring life to the chair and give your room a little texture.
20131102-202132.jpg20131102-202156.jpgPatio furniture has come a long way with color too! If you’ve got patio furniture that’s in good condition try taking it on as a weekend project. A little sweat equity goes a long way plus you might just surprise yourself at what you can do.
